Paula Beleckis is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience, including 20+ years in the consumer financial services industry. She has solid background in Compliance, Control and Internal Audit. The highlights of Paula’s career include senior executive positions at Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, Travelers Life and Annuity Company, Commercial Credit Corporation etc. At Citigroup Paula held senior management positions such as Managing Director – Global Compliance Mergers and & Acquisitions, Chief Compliance officer – Citigroup Japan, Managing Director – Strategy and Support for Internal Audit, Chief Compliance and Control Officer – CitiFinancial International. In her tenure at Travelers Life and Annuity Company, Paula was the Chief Auditor.
Paula is well known in the industry peers for her in-depth knowledge of the operational risk elements and her ability to effectively assess risks at the enterprise level in the global arena. Her expertise in regulatory requirements and working with US and Japanese regulators has made Paula a prominent figure in the Financial Services Compliance world. Paula currently provides Advisory and Consulting Services which include: developing strategic initiatives for compliance or resolution management.
Paula has a MBA from DePaul University and a BS in Business Administration from Roosevelt University. She currently lives with her husband Bob Beleckis in South Carolina.
